Can't extract photos from Sony a6000 internal memory

Hi!

I have forgot to insert my memory card once, and did not realise that I've made some shots on camera's internal memory. Connecting the camera through USB to my pc does not help - I dont see these photos in the folder, I only see some links for product registration there. Using Play memories home program did not help as well, it does not see any photos. Also I can see on my computer menu that theres one more folder F has apppeared, but it does not let me open it. Where could be the problem?

Many thanks

Ksenia

Hi Ksenia,

Unfortunately you can't copy open images from internal memory on your PC.

The internal memory is only a buffer memory that cannot be accessed.

Cheers

Is there any way to get the pictures?

Hallo @villuribhanu,

no, that is not possible.

I think you can deactivate somewhere that a shutter release without a card is even possible, so in the future you will get a warning instead of the camera writing data into the flash memory meant for "demo-use" in electronic-stores.
