Tv sound goes then resets comes back and goes again after 5 minutes

My Sony Bravia model no KD-49XE8396,

ive had this before but couldn’t remember what Sony got me to do.

the tv turned on, suddenly sound goes, then screen goes black, turns off into the reset screen, come back on and dose the same 5 minutes later..

ive unplugged left for hours but still did the same, as I said Sony talked me through a reset without doing a hard full wipe.
Are there any thoughts please?.

I believe this is the reset you're referring to.

I'm also pretty sure this issue was fixed in one of the recent updates (the end of last year if I recall correctly) so make sure your TV is updated to the latest software version (using the USB method since you can't access the TV at the moment).
