Britbox stopped working and not available as an app

This evening Britbox has stopped working, it worked fine yesterday evening. Does anyone know what has changed? I delete the app and now can’t get it back.

Same issue here.

I've had issues with Britbox, All4, ITV Hub in the Sony select area.

The other night (tuesday) after 45 minutes of messing about, rebooting, unplugging etc it just randomly started working.

Tonight, happened again, just won't load. Background changed colour but nothing opens.

Might be worth a go? I've yet to try it

Edit: Uninstalled the update that was pushed on 30th September. Seems to work fine now. Will keep an eye on it though

Did you try to find it in Live TV & Catch up in apps? And yea uninstalling the updates does help.

I don't want to have to go into the Live TV & Catch-up to view Britbox when there's it's own entry within the Sony select.

Is this the way it's going to go in the future? IPlayer/ITVHub/All4/Britbox will only be accessible through the youview Live TV and Catch-up app?

So far no one knows really, whether it's a Sony update, a YouView update, is it gonna be like this forever, will the go back to work like they used to? Still no info, so you could use this as a workaround till we have further updates I guess, just keep checking the thread and other ones as well, cheers.

Wonder if there's an announcement on the horizon, or, another update to either the TV firmware or the App.

I'll leave auto app updates off for the time being
