Sony STR-DN1040 Amp Compatible with Sony OLED TV XR-55A95L ?

Hi - just bought the Sony XR-55A95L TV and tried to set up the surround sound using my old Sony STR-DN1040 Amp but I'm having difficulties as the eARC to ARC does not seem to work. What are the work arounds or is the amp not compatible? thank you

I have done a bit more research and unfortunately they will not work together because the amp does not support HDCP 2.2 - so there is no work around.

Hdcp is related to video signal, you can still use the amp to manage the lossy audio through the arc connection but not to pass video signal to the tv

You should connect all the video source directly to the tv
