What would say the "X" over the network signal XPERIA L1 single sim

HI everybody,

I have a new xperia L1 , when I disable wifi and 4G data I see a "X" (see picture).

I never see this on other cellphone, exept when I stay out of network.

The pdf user guide don't speak about this..

So is this a logical icone to say that I work without data or a bug?

My signal is low and give me 1 or 2 on 5 line network and I can call and sms with the "X"
