Xperia V "Blue Screen of Death"

Hi all

I have recently updated my Xperia V to the latest 4.3 firmware and all seems well until today sudden as I was watching a video on my phone with the earpiece connected, the whole screen suddenly turned blue and I could not do anything when it happened, so I had to force restart and display went back to normal again, it is indeed very weird as you would never expect when will it happen again. Prior to this, I did not drop my phone nor damage it in anyway and it was working perfectly fine when on 4.1.2. But my guess would be it will be more hardware problem but could it possibly be due to software bug or some sort of the 4.3 firmware. Kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

Something could have gone wrong with the update.Download SUS and repair:

When I use the 'movies' app by Sony, recently updated, it likes to have this blue screen flash bug. Well, it rather frightens me whether my cell's motherboard is damaged or I 'burnt' the phone by playing games while charging or some other things that may cause it.. Pls help me find the answer..thks

Screen flickers and the blue screen experienced with movies in my Xperia V are still an issue for me even after repairing it's software.. Restarting too.. Even it turns off automatically during charging.. I wonder if there is a way that can get all these problems away? Maybe, another software update to fix these bugs, or I did something wrong?? I don't know.. Need help..;( Sony fan

Another would be Xperia V's 'leggy' screen brightness at the lock screen or maybe everytime.. It is noticeably presentable looking though..

My Xperia V has the same issue, software update didn't help, sent my phone in for servicing, will update once my phone is ready for collection. It could be a hardware failure too.

I also have blue screen flashes with full screen video playback. Very disappointed
