cannot search on my experia

Please help the phone is not allowing me to click at any button at the top of th e screen eg. Wats app can't use the touch screen and can't click on the save button wen it comes to the alarm no touch screen capabilities only at top right hand side of screen

Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Diagnostics -> Test -> Touchscreen, and verify that all parts of your screen can be activated.

No there is no case on the phone, bottom half working top is not working

If the top of the screen isn't working at all then this sounds like a hardware issue not an app or apps issue so you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care and have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Then as @Thommo said, it is a hardware problem and you need to visit a local Sony support centre. I was eliminating software isuues by guiding you to Safe Mode, if it's still happens there then it's hardware.
