Hi guys. I've had my Z3+ for a week now and Clean Master App has now three times warned me of "little RAM left". I had the Z3 for a little over 4 months and never got this message. The phone works OK, it does not slow down or anything. I may have had 5-6 apps open (Phone, Messages, Chrome, Mail, Facebook, Messenger) - nothing unusual, when i got the messages. Clean Master then proceeds to clean a couple of hundred MB (not much).
What i'm wondering is if this is a problem with the Z3+ ? Has anyone else experienced this?

-Daniel

android is designed to use as much ram as possible by keeping as many apps as it can open at once and only closing apps when ram runs out, not having any ram left is nothing to worry about, the clean master app is probably doing more harm than good

Actually, I think this is part of the problem with overheating. Android is supposed to shut down unused/not needed apps running. It worked fine and I NEVER got this message on my Z phone. However, the Z3+ has poor App management- it leaves multiple apps running multitasked, and I believe this is why the phone is overheating. I have had dozens of apps running (and those are the ones that show - there are many processes running in the background that are more difficult to find and shut down).

My advice is to regularly use the Close All button in task manager, especially if you want to take any photos. It remains to be seen if the latest update helps with this - only got that yesterday

I'm not sure because my phone does not seem to overheat.

And i'm running the latest update.

As i said, there seems to be nothing wrong with the phone, except that message from Clean Master...

We have both experienced significant heating of the phone, but never to the point of it being unstable APART from shutting the camera down. I had CleanMaster running on my old Z phone, and on both my Z tablet and new Z4 tablet, and never had any memory problems reported on them by CleanMaster (despite the Z4 Tablet basically having almost the same innards as the Z3+).

I'd be interested to know if, when CleanMaster gives you that message, and you ignore it, whether your camera app works OK at that time?

Still or video?

Another interesting thing is that RAM-usage never seems to drop below 70-75%, even after a reboot.
I don't remember the RAM-usage on my Z3 to be that high...
