Update notification

I just want to know how to get rid of the update notification? (without updating of course!)

Unless I have the option of undoing the update I will not update and don't see why if I chose not to to keep seeing this notification.

My last device was an Xperia Z3 that I had rooted and working better than better.

You can actually flash a previous firmware via flash tool

You cannot by default, but you can clear the data for the software update app, it will remove the notification but only until you restart your device.

@Jrnr I don't think flashtool should be suggested for general use honestly.

@RJK75 Yes, correct. If you restart, the notification comes back.

Jrnr, is right there I've used it on my Z3 to root it, it's OK if you know what you are doing but it's defo. not for the gen. pop. But this is off topic!!

I don't see why I should be either forced into updating the device or forced into seeing the notification ALL THE TIME!!
Yes security updates may be needed but then there should be 2 options 1.Security AND UI Update, 2.Security Update only.
AND ALSO
Rollback/Uninstall Update.
