Pop ups started showing up

Help! Pop ups of an adult nature have started appearing on my Xperia x. I have 360 security which says my phone is clean and have made sure pop ups are turned off on chrome, but they still appear! Any help appreciated. Thank you

can you try to boot to safe mode? if the pop ups dissapears, it means an app you intalled or updated is causing the problem.

most antivirus do not work on android devices since most app can ask permission and you will eventually have to accept them to use the app.

try to go over the apps you recently installed and see which one is causing this.

Thanks, this didn't work though, they seem to be coming from chrome. Do you think I should restore to factory settings?

You can get these issues from downloading movies or songs from torrent sites. Happened to me using Showbox. Reset phone, no issues.
