Quick Charge 3 issue with Xperia XZ

My Xperia Xz is not chrged as claimed with SONY UCH12W and any other third party accessories equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.

Only 10% difference in about 80%

Regular Uch20 charger charges 72% in 60 mins (starting from 25%)

Uch12w charger charges 82% in 60 mins (starting from 25 %)

I talked to different Sony Agents, but no help.

Surprisingly, Hugo Q, an agent from Lithuania or Latvia, suggested holding down the Power button and Volume Up button at the same time to completely shut down the phone in order to bypass any possible software issue, which I found out was a way to hard reset the phone, which removes all data.

What if I were a novice?

@Gem_i: if there is a sony service center near you. maybe you could try to do a comparison with another xperia xz or with another quick charger.

try to do the tests again. with the device on safe mode or with airplane mode active.

remember, even with a fast charger the device software will actually slow down the charging once you reached 80-90% charge, this is to protect the battery.
