Sony Xperia 1 signal, app crashing and touch senor issues

This is the second sony Xperia 1 I have had in 6 months and have still got the same issues with signal dropping out completely or if not just only 1 bar ! Also the touch senors works hardly ever 1in 5 attempts. Also having issues with apps crashing for example the phone call app and spotify. Can anyone help bought the phone through car phone Wearhouse and on contract with EE so don't know where I stand ? Thanks in advance

I think the cover style sensor has a problem, I have had a broken phone in Iran for a month and there is no Xperia repair shop, I did it with Xperia software, I did not get any results.

Hi @Mozza1201,

For the signal issue, did you try to test the SIM card in another device? and maybe also try to test another SIM card with your phone, it's better to test a SIM card with a different network operator but as long as your device is locked to a certain network, it will be a SIM card with the same network operator.

And for the touchscreen issue, try the steps here

If these steps didn't work, i think that means contacting Sony to arrange a repair service for your phone.

My phone is not locked, I did repairs many times with Sony software, but it didn't work. The problem started when the cover styler did not lock when closed, I turned the phone off and it did not come up again

Honestly, my phone did not have a problem and it worked very well, but it has been turned off for a month now

Ok, if the touchscreen is not resolved by the software repair, you have to send the phone to be repaired.

And did you try to test the SIM card in another phone?

Hey, have you tried different SIM cards? Just to make sure it is a phone issue.
