Xperia 1 ii icons at top of home page

Evening all.

Over the last week I've had an irritating issue whereby the icons at the top of the home page (time, battery etc) appear to overlap with old stale data i.e. shows a time earlier in the day, old battery strength, old notifications. It overlaps with the correct information thus making it hard to see what the true status on the phone is. A restart clears it but I can't do that continuously. It appears with both the microsoft and xperia launcher.

Was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or could give any help to resolve the problem.

Same thing happening in Safe Mode?

If not, then an app is causing trouble.

Is there a way of seeing which aps you've downloaded in order so I can remove systematically starting with the newest?
