Xperia 1 III - Default SIM for Contacts

I am considering buying an Xperia 1 III Dual SIM. Is there a way where you can specify (and store) which SIM should be assigned to each contact so that the phone uses whichever one you specify when ringing a particular contact?

Hello @Dingle232

If you use the contacts app, you can import contacts bfrom both sims into the app. Then you can have one contact with multiple entry..if you try to call that particular contact the device will prompt you which number to ring if it has more than one

There is also an option in the phone asks you every time you're making a call to choose the SIM card that you want to make the call with.

Thank you. I am aware that one contact can have multiple numbers and that the phone will ask you each time but what I want to know is this:

If you go into a contact and hit the 3 dots (menu) for that contact does the phone allow you to select a sim for calls for that particular contact? That SIM would be then used EVERY time for calls to that contact without the handset asking you which SIM to use.
