    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have today visited the shop where I bought my camera and they are taking up the matter with Sony, it sounds like I am not the first they have had to be involved in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will post when further info to hand .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought a new DSC-RX10M3 to some degree influenced by the offer of £150 cashback. I registered the new camera which was acknowledged and at the later date as requested I submitted the cashback claim which was also acknowledged with purchase and photographic detail as required .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sony have now invalidated my claim supposedly because the incorrect model was notified. This is not the case as checking all detail the correct information has been submitted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sony know I bought the camera they have all purchase and serial number information so why try and back out of an advertised offer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sharp practice which taints the purchase of what is otherwise a very nice product.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would I buy or recommend a Sony product as a result, no .&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;advising you to phone Support (especially if you have the proof etc.)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try not to worry.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There have been glitches previously in cashback offers,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;however virtually all of them get sorted out.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;(Providing all the necessary requirements have been met)&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Still no response to e mails from Sony customer service &amp;nbsp;re failed link to re apply for cashback even though all information correct on original claim.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my opinion its sales under false pretences, bad practice to say the least.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Cannot phone, am away in Germany for three weeks. I mailed them twice before leaving and received no response, there comes a point where one gives up on such a lousy customer service and never touches another of their products. I just hope the camera never goes wrong as I’m sure Sony wouldn’t honour a warranty based on this experience.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is 2018 and a response to an e mail is not rocket science but obviously beyond the ability of Sony staff.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
