https://community.sony.fr/t5/alpha-nex-interchangeable-lens-cameras/af-problems/m-p/2540356#M7160 <P><STRONG>Hello Guys</STRONG><BR />I am using the A7iii with an MC-11 and a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens for filming.</P><P>When i am in Standart Aperture-priority mode(A-mode) the autofocus System (set to AF-C) automatically adjust as long as i keep the shutter half pressed. When i turn the Camera to another subject at another distance, the focus automatically adjusts perfectly, in the right direction (Shutter still half pressed). (As it should with the Phase-Detection)</P><P>But when i switch to movie mode, the autofocus seems to "search" and "hunt" its focal distance (as if it somehow switched to contrast mode)&nbsp;and as soon as it finds it, the AF (still in AF-C) just locks to this position. When i turn the camera to a different Subject it doesn't adjust the focus anymore as it did before.</P><P>Am i doing something wrong or is this just because of the adapted lens?
