Please check that your camera is not currently in use by another program, and then try again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is the message that appears when I attempt to send webcam.&lt;BR /&gt;I've checked in Device Manager and my "Sony Visual Communication Camera" is enabled (that's the motion eye, right?)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've searched for new harware and it's all up to date too, plus I only got the laptop today.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it helps the laptop is VAIO NS Series (VGN-NS20E)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've tried opening the camera in other programmes too, but nothing is detected.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me,&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had this problem and I assume that you are using McAfee Security which blocks access to the camera when you try to set up the audio / visual settings.  You need to uninstall the latest version of live messenger.  Then go to Microsofts download website and download the 2008 version of messenger.  I think that you find it will then work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
