Screen problem - i have stripes all over my screen - HELP!

I have FZ21M laptop - i have recently started having problems with my screen - all of a sudden my screen is covered in stripes - is this a driver problem / conflict .

Ultimately means i have a rather expensive laptop with very poor visuuals - the resolution seems to be fine (i think !) but the screen is coloured in stripes.

is there anyway i can fix this - i have tried to restore to an earlier timepoint - and that did work the first time, but now the problem has occurred again!! and this time i can't fix it

can anyone help - PLEASE - i am desperate to get this fixed - have spent the last 5 hours without succcess

ps in addition, i dont seem to have the capabilties of altering the brightness - it looks like it gives me the option to change brightness settyings - but when i try, it fails to alter the settings - is this a symtom of the above problem?????

Seems to be an hardware problem. I suggest you to contact VAIO Link asap. www.vaio-link.com

I have done a hardware diagnostics and the following errors were found (does this help identify the problem with my screen - if yes - does it help someone define a solution to the problem - if the answer is yes, i would be grateful for an answer

please can someone help - i have already tried vaio online support without any reply

i have noticed that on the device manager that NVIDIA driver has a code 43 error

i have tried to re-install via the vaio recovery centre - buit this did not help - do i need to unistall this driver before i go to the vaio recovery centre - please help with suggestions since i do need advice before uninstalling drivers - especially since they are not availabel on disc
