Sony dvd sound mode says NOT.USE

I I have a Sony dvd player that was working fine. Now for some reason when I try to change the sound mode it says NOT.USE this is the second time it has done it. First time under warranty the unit was replaced. Has anybody else had the same issue.

Yes got the latest firmware but no difference
