Hi
It's quite frustrating to find out I pre ordered with EE direct in the UK and I don't get the free headphone?? O2, sky and even EE through carphonewarehouse....
Surely this should of been open directly through Sony?
I've seen a figure of 30 hours total bandied around. I've used mine for quite a few hours (4+) and so far, on my first full charge, I've only just dropped my charge to 80%
At least you got yours. I can see them bailing out on the deal or offer an alternative. A week in a caravan in Rhyl in November. 😬
In the US the offer disappeared from Amazon and other stores for a while so i pre-ordered from B&H. Today i notice the offer is back on Amazon for free headphones. Oh well.
The Xperia 1 release date is July 12th for US.
Not sure about US offer but it doesn't look good for UK offer. Getting periously close to the 28 day postage time. Beyond that are they in breach of contract? So is it we expected 1000 sales but got 2000 but we only reckoned for 800!!

Contact kondor and see what the holdup is.
The holdup is Sony not Kondor they are failing to supply enough headphones to them and that was the situation over a week ago .
This is ridiculous. I held out for this phone since the announcement in Feb, felt rewarded for doing so when the deal came out and now are left in a weird state of questioning Sony's moral integrity.
There is nothing to suggest that Sony are not going (eventually) to produce the goods and ship the shortfall in headphones to the distributor(s) of the free headphones offer.
However, this shows yet again Sony's poor management of such campaigns. The X1 has been more of a success than Sony expected, despite Sony's rubbish promotion of it. Sony were not expecting to need to give out so many headphones so fast.
In addition, the WH1000XM3 headphones have been receiving multiple accolades (rightly) as the best noise cancelling headphones in the world at the moment. And they are currently on special offer on both sides of the pond. I suspect their warehouse stock of the headphones is minimal or empty, and they are needing to produce more.
I have emailed Kondor again as of yet to recieve a reply.
They probably know as much as we do but Sony are stalling because they've been caught out.
Not fair to us customers who bought their product in good faith.
Ok latest update
