Hi
It's quite frustrating to find out I pre ordered with EE direct in the UK and I don't get the free headphone?? O2, sky and even EE through carphonewarehouse....
Surely this should of been open directly through Sony?
Me, no acknowledgment at all

No confirmation on dispatch. Message sent to customer services yesterday enquiring.
Told that the headphones were sent yesterday(21st June), and lo and behold, they arrived this morning(22nd June).
So 22 days really from start to finish.
Hmmm, that's frustrating. I ordered mine the day before you, and checking with them yesterday, they told me mine would be despatched "soon" and that I'd get a notification. (also from CPW)
Still no notification or headphones 😞
I wonder why they sent you yours before me, when I ordered them before you did. Annoying!
I'm inclined to think it may be down to the verification.
I had an issue registering my IMEI number, and it not allowing me to re-enter it, upon a perpetual loop for entering it, so support gave me a modified one, which was accepted, and I guess pretty much in their hands from point of registering. That was all done on the 30th/31st May.
They do say that they may take up to 28 days to be delivered, but like you, I waited just over 14 days to contact them.
Happy though, as it's usually my luck to either be last or not get anywhere at all.!
Just had this back from Kondor regarding my CPW order;
We are experiencing an unpredicted influx of orders and in turn this has caused a slight delay in us dispatching our orders
Your order will be dispatched shortly and you will receive a dispatch confirmation
They had exactly 1000 pairs to manage, shouldn't have been too hard to predict? At least they are working on it.
Not directly related but still:
I had to wait 7 weeks for a campaign on a charger related to Samsung smartwatch early this year.
So it seems like somewhat of an "industry-standard" that it takes quite a few weeks for those Campaign-companies to get the stuff delivered.......
Called them just now. Being dispatched today Recieved a tracking number Royal Mail 24
Good that you have received your headphones
Does seem a little unfair though. A few customers have been told now by Kondor that claims and validation is done on a first come first serve basis. I claimed early on the 30th May, around 10.30am ish... had my order confirmation email at 11am on the 30th, and was told a few days ago that my validation was successful and will dispatch soon, 26th June now and still waiting on dispatch...
There are only 1000 units EU wide available, so these units are not just shared between the first 1000 O2 and CPW UK customers that claim. Its understandable why we are all a bit panicky.
There is also a clause in the T&Cs stating you may be given a substitute pair if their are "circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter". So we are all hoping Kondor doesn’t mess up, but from the mess in the beginning with website glitches, upload problems, delays, and a lack of progress updates unless forced, its not very reassuring unfortunately. No offence to Kondor, every time I have emailed or phoned they have been very courteous and informative, but this promotion could have gone a lot smoother.
I think for those who claimed very early on, that have received an email confirmation for their order, confirmation from Kondor that their validation was successful and will dispatch soon, and the information provided in the T&C's, plus Kondor stating themselves that this is done on a first come, first serve basis, that it would end up being a legal nightmare for Kondor if these customers that claimed early did not receive the exact WH-1000XM3's promised, when there are customers that claimed later and already received their headsets, which there is proof of in this every forum. I for one will certainly be taking this further if I do not get the exact WH-1000MX3's promised when I successfully claimed so early on the 30th.
But I think this is a matter of patience, and understanding that Kondor were not prepared for the high volume of orders. Just as long as they do honour the first actual 1000 claims, (or their allocation of those 1000 units) and dont just randomly try to rush though all the orders regardless of claim time / date. We shouldnt have anything to worry about. If they dont, I think as I said above they will end up in the legal hot house.
Wellp,
After that long babble, they turned up in the post today. I never received a royal mail dispatch and tracking email as Kondor said I would, but as long as they are finally here, I'm happy.
I've already watched a few youtube reviews before, so know how good they are, and I've played around with them a bit the last 20 minutes, and have to say they are amazing. I put them on and turned them on while i set up bluetooth, and silence... I am sitting in a small server room for CG production rendering, lots of fans running, window open, lots of cherping birds and a few cars going past, and complete silence, cant even hear the mouse being moved around on the desk or me typing, just a faint sound like a small breeze though the trees. Amazing The touch controls work well, and sound quality is exceptional. I've tried a few Hi-res tracks and watched a few Dolby Atmos videos in 4K HDR and every impressed.
I already have a pretty decent pair of aging Sennheisers 598's, and according to my Audiologist my hearing is exceptional, so sound quality wise there wasnt a lot in it for me between the two headsets, but then when you think that these are wireless over bluetooth, with exceptional noise cancelling, that changes things. Base seems a little more punchy than the Sennheisers, but both just as crisp, and the accurcy of the spacial sound, especially watching Atomos demos is more accurate on the Sony's. The Sony's are very comfortable, but I do find there is this compressed air pressure feeling when wearing them, but hopefully I will get used to them. All in all, very impressed, and the best thing of all, they were free!
Hopefully all waiting will get theres soon... I think it would be hypocritical for me to say just be patient, as I have been far from it, but I guess all the worry, at least for me, was a waste of time.

Word for word..
Same response I got on my O2 claim.
Yet was told last week mine was shipping with delivery before today.
I have the feeling the reason they are not in order of claim, could well be that the database is sorted numerically on verification, i.e cpw/O2 return the verified list and it's sorted imei numerically

1000 from CPW, unlimited from O2.
Easy to see how things can get sticky to be fair
