"Chimping" is when you look at your previous image to see what can be improved for the next frame. People chimp all the time to check exposure, composition etc.
The "chimping" process now is that you take down your camera, press a key, zoom, press another key to exit and then back to shooting. It takes time.
This cound be improved if there was an option in camera to preview last image on the back screen automatically, but NOT in the EVF.
