Hello all

The aim of this thread is to collate all the issues that are currently outstanding and to provide feedback to everyone in this thread. This thread will be a work in progress and updates on various reported issues will be posted back here on the pages below.

Only issues that can be confirmed by multiple people will be posted here.

NOTE: For anyone experiencing other issues not mentioned here - can you please ensure that you factory reset the TV.   Instructions are located: HERE

Update: Due to some TVs that will be on Marshmallow and others that will be on Nougat, this list will be separated into two (ATV1 and ATV2 - see below for model numbers for the difference).  If the fault occurs on both versions of Android, it will be listed under both lists.

Volume Bar - Display Issues:

Problem:

Many people have been reporting some display issues with the volume bar upon pressing the volume up or volume down buttons on their remote control.  It seems like there are two issues:

• A delay in displaying the changes (approx 5 seconds or more)
• A delay in displaying the changes (more than a minute or so) - appears to 'crash'.  Further detailed analysis of a logcat of the crash can be found HERE.

MotionFlow issues on aspect ratios other than 16:9

Problem:

Some forum members have noticed that MotionFlow either doesnt work or not very effective upon playback of video content with aspect ratios other than 16:9.  Basically in summary, the videos that have the black bars at the top and bottom are effected.  Issue seems to happen on both ATV1 and ATV2 platforms.

YouTube app (v2.0) - 4K Issues

Problem:

YouTube has updated its application on the Android TVs to version 2.00.18. 

• 2160p content plays at 1440p instead
• General perfomance issues (i.e. jerky, stuttery playback) - which seems to be the result of high-cpu load
• 1080p@60 also have stuttery playback and via Chromecast.

Colour Settings not being retained correctly

Problem:

When setting the colours to an acceptable level and then returning back to watch TV, upon changing the channel, the colour saturation appears to default to a level 10-15% above the level that has just been set.
