Apple TV+ App on Sony A8 OLED TV

On the product description page for the Sony A8 OLED TV you clearly and boldly show the Apple TV+ App on the screen of the TV and in a list of the 5000+ apps available. Then in the small print Sony say it will be coming soon! Please can anybody confirm when the Apple TV+ app is coming to the A8? While the Airplay2 capability (only 1080p) is interesting the whole point of the Apple TV+ app is to get 4k, HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby ATMOS which are all headline features of the Sony A8! How long is soon? 6 months and counting...

I guess you meant it should be available before end of this year.

I also understand that since ios / ipados 14 Airplay 2 is now 4K capable, so I should be able to make use of that until the Apple TV+ app is available.
