Apple TV

I have issues with Sony kd55xd8577 and Apple TV. Sony does not regonize HDMI connected Apple tv if TV has been turned off and Apple tv has been turned of same time. Only way to connect Apple TV again is boot TV properly. Then Apple TV appears with no issues.

 

My Apple TV is 3rd Generation.

 

Has anyone faced same kind issues and found solution for that?

Hi,

Not sure if it's the same issue, but I got a new XE90 model and have similar problem too.

Once I start (switch on) my Apple TV, the Sony TV is not switching ON.

Switching Off the Apple TV will switch off the Sony TV.

 

In my case, TV is detecting Apple TV but still, there is an HDMI- CEC problem.

This was working fine with my 7 years old Panasonic TV.

I have the latest official firmware on both devices.
