Rollback to Android 7 (v5629)

Hello,

I have a Sony android TV and it was working fine until I upgraded its firmware to the Android 8 (v6520).
Since then the TV set suffers many issues like:

1- Repeated crashes which needs the TV to be plugged out and plug in again.
2-Many lags in my Bluetooth controller (practically, my controller is useless)

3-The function to see running apps with holding HOME key is gone!!!
4-Some of my previous apps doesn't run anymore.
5-And many many other minor bugs and failures.

I've already reset factory the TV without any results.

Now, I only have one request. Kindly say how to rollback the firmware to my previous Android 7 (v5629).
I have the previous firmware package file. But I don't know the procedures, though I have a good knowledge of firmware recovery in android phones.

I'm really frustrated with my upgrade and I really appreciate your help.

Hello @mohsen1981,

I am not aware that a rollback is possible at all. I suspect you already searched the internet - did you find any guide?

Hi @mohsen1981

It may be worth contacting Sony UK Support for a definitive answer.
