Hi mansher123,
I don't think this is normal, could you try to change the HDMI port, and also try other cables, maybe also soft reset the TV by pressing and holding on the power button on the remote?
Hope this helps,
Aladdin

Hi Aladdin,
I can't change the HDMI ports, because only ports 2 & 3 support 4K, and the tv is in 2, and my hone cinema is in 3. Both have new hi speed cables. Also by pressing & holding the power button, it just switches the tv off. I guess I'll just have to live with it.
Thanks for trying to help.

Hi mansher123,
I guess you can do that if the remote has an "Action Menu" button, you'll be able to access screen and picture settings while you're on viewing external inputs.
Hope this helps,
Aladdin

HI Aladdin,
The Action Menu dosn't work with the display settings. By using the home button, I can access the display menu, but on trying to change any display, the answer is "not available with this setting (on SkyQ).
