Sony KD49XG9005BU Netflix Dolby Vision Issue

Hi there, I recently purchased the Sony KD49XG9005BU and when using Netflix Dolby Vision the image looks dull / washed out / greyed out, please can anyone assist in customising to the best option or how to resolve this issue?

Many thanks in advance

The way that the picture for the Netflix is not customisable is appalling.
Netflix is horrible on this.

The 4K HDR is so so disappointing.

i really want my money back on this.

I did my research and there was nothing, absolutely nothing about the crappy Netflix UHD HDR on this set.

Have you tried changing the colour temperature in colour picture settings? I found the same with dolby vision, everything seemed to have a green tint. Found out it was because of the colour temp setting.

I agree with Talljed. If you want more detailed information, you can also follow this guide from Sony here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00126919

Hmmm I have this TV and have never noticed these issues with DV via Netflix. What are your picture settings for Dolby Vision? My only complaint is the amount of blooming but colours and brightness is generally good.

Do you have the same issue with other HDR content?

Is it all DV content on Netflix which does this for you?

When we first got our 55AG9 in April this year, we found that the reds (e.g. lipstick and red garments) tended to be too vivid on Netflix. We noticed it on *****z Creek (plain HD) and Grace & Frankie (Dolby Vision). I altered the colour balance to correct this. But I recommend making a note of every such adjustment you make, as it is easy to do what I did and make too many different changes and then it's difficult to find your way back to where you were before.
