Battery not charging properly

Hi I've had my bloggie since Nov 2011. When I try to charge the battery it seems to work ok, light starts off orange, then goes out once charged - but when I try to use it there is virtually no battery life. This happens whether or not I use the usb extension. Is there an update I need or can I get a replacement battery as it's less than a year old?

Hello naphili - Welcome to the Sony Forums

As you mention that the product is under a year old, I would recommend contacting Sony Customer Services to see if it could be down to a physical fault within the camera. If this is the case, you would be well inside of the manufacturer's warranty period and it would make sense to try this first.
