GW55VE vs HX20V

Dear all,

I have the intention to buy a compact camera either foto or video and I would like to have your vote for GW55VE vs HX20V.

Can you please recommend one of these two camera i am interested in?

As with any decision like this, the final decision will always depend upon exactly what you are looking for in a camera. As the GW55VE is a powerful device for taking videos, whilst the same can be said for the HX20V for taking photos.

If having a large range of options for taking photos in various conditions is important to you and videos are secondary, I would advise going for the HX20V. Having said that, the video capabilities of the HX20V are pretty extensive as well and so I would probably advise this model for your all round needs.
