I have a camera HDR-CX260 VE, which I equipped with a SD-XC to 64Gb card, which is compatible, as indicated in the Portuguese manual on page 24.
I format the card with camera as indicated in the manual.
I record my pictures and photos without problem, I can play them, but I couldn't found any way to store in my computer, because the file system is exFAT and only the camera can recognise them.
I tried make a copy to the internal memory, but there is no option in the MENU.
Is there any procedure to solve this problem?
Hi mjsmarq,
Welcome to the Sony forum...
Have you installed Play Memories Home in your computor?
Maybe this can help you...
Regards
Yes, I have installed Play Memories Home in my computer, but doesn't recognize the memory card.
I appreciate your help and I was reading carefully the manual, but I couldn’t find help to solve the problem.
I am not a computer expert and I suppose that my system use NTFS files recording system and recognize FAT but doesn’t recognize exFAT as mentioned on http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4416294111/gb/contents/03/04/02/02.html.
The card was readable by my computer before formatting with the camcorder, but now the computer it is trying to format the card when the card is inserted in the camera connected by USB cable or inserted in a card reader.
Is there any driver or something else to solve the problem? Why this is not explained on the manual? It’s a suggestion.
Thanks in advance.
In the meantime I search by GOOGLE one answer and I found in the Microsoft site http://www.microsoft.com/pt-pt/download/details.aspx?id=19364 one answer to Portugal.
After instalation I hope that problem will be solved.
I will put feedback in the forum.
