I am shopping for a new Sony. I have owned 2 Sony camcorders and want to purchase a new one. My question is what size frame can I get from a video taken with a HDRCX580V? I have a Canon camera right now and when I take a video of a performance I can get action frames that are up to 290 KB's. That is not great.
I realize there are other ways to get pictures besides taking them off the frames from a video, however, I often go through one of our performances and then I see great frames of the action filled video.
With a new Sony would I expect to get any larger frames than the 290 KB's I currently can get from my Cannon?
