Microphone for HDR-CX160E

Hello.

I have bought af couple of Mini Clip-on Microphones for my camera, but none of them works. Please tell me which microphone - mini clip-on - is aple to work with it, and where can I buy it.

When you say that the microphones do not work, do you mean that the plug fits into the microphone socket correctly, but the microphones do not provide any sound to the camcorder? This model has a standard 3.5mm socket, and in theory attaching a compatible microphone to this should automatically cut off the internal microphone while recording.
