Sony DCR-HC14E compatibility problem

I have a lap top that runs on windows 7.Camcorder does not run on that system, so what do I do and how please.:smileyconfused:

For this camcorder you would need to use the i.Link socket when connecting to a Windows 7 laptop and this is where it could get confusing as you may not be able to install an i.Link card if there is not one already there. If you let me know your make and model of laptop I will be able to advise you on this.
