Sony Handycam HDR-CX155E won't work at all.

My Sony Handycam HDR-CX155E won't work at all. Even with battery fully charged, the screen is just a mass of grey noise so can't view live action, nor can I record anything. Any tips?

Have you tried doing a full reset of the camera to see if this fixes the problem? On this model, there is a small 'Reset' hole located on the main panel underneath the screen and it needs to be pressed with a small, pointed object. To see an exact location, take a look at page 105 of the manual which can be found here:
