Steadyshot locked

CX730E. I was unable to switch the 'steadyshot' function back on recently and had to reset the camera for it to work again. Am I missing some hidden lock function? The display confirmed SS enabled but lens just stayed locked. Thanks for any advice. Tommo

There shouldn't be any function that permanently locks this - do you see any kind of error message that appears when the Steadyshot becomes locked?

Just to check, are you following the instructions on page 37 of the manual to set up the Steadyshot feature? There is an electronic version of the user guide here:

Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes - I had followed the instructions as per the manual. I pressed the re-set button and that seemed to cure it! He ho. Thank you for your reply.

Sometimes there is nothing better than a full reset - this is common with most electronic products unfortunately
