I have read many messages saying how difficult it is to receive cash back from Sony, but hoped this would not apply in my case. Unfortunately I have just received an email saying my claim had been rejected as I sent order confirmation rather than the invoice. This is very surprising as it clearly shows INVOICE in large letters half way down the page and gives the invoice number. I have resubmitted my claim, but am wondering whether Sony will find some other specious reason to deny my claim, as seems to have happened with many other people.

Ive had no issues with Sony cashback.
I have only just bought my RX100 camera today from John Lewis in Newbury. The assistant told me I was entitled to a £50 cashback from Sony and all I had to do was register with them. Their site is obviously not working correctly and I have had to send them a message. Time will tell if they sort things and I get my money but if I dont I will cause them a lot of trouble. Lets hope I dont have to.
