DSC-HX90V Delay when taking photo

Good afternoon,

Can anyone help as I've purchased a DSC-HX90V but seem to have a delay when taking a photo. I'm not sure if I've disturbed a setting hence the delay.

I'm located in Malvern, Worcestershire, Uk if someone can help.

Have you always had this delay??

Have you possibly selected self timer which would give you a delay??

I am not using the self Timer, but if the display is up, pointing to the front, then taking a photo gets a three second delay. How do I turn this off?
