Hello all and may you have a good day.
I recently purchased a DSC HX90V which I have used with both Intelligent Autos as well as other preset features and I must say I am quite happy with the camera. Trying to take it to modes M, S, A though I find it a bit difficult for setting the values I desire though the manual says that this is something I can change in those three modes. To be specific, I am trying to set shutter speed to 20"-30" seconds with f/8 (I can't get higher than that), and ISO 100 or 80
In all three above modes M, S, A, I can set the desired values of Shutter and aperture ONLY when ISO is set to AUTO but as I said above I need the ISO in a slow value and not in AUTO.
Anyone can help me out with this?
Thanks in advance.
OK
Press on menu -> goto the menu tab with the camera, choose page 3 and set ISO to the desired value.
Now you can go to A, S or M and adjust Aperture, Shutter or both in Manual mode.
Aperture with the lens ring, Shutter speed with the Control wheel on the back.
BTW
Did you discover PlayMemoriesCameraApps?
If I remember well it offers you a GPS update for your camera as well as a few camera apps.
I like the Smart Remote Control very much.
Put your device on a tripod, seat yourself behind your smartphone screen, take your time to set all settings you like and shoot.
I added a cheap motorized Pan-Tilt device and now I'm taking bird shots like a 'pro'.
One other thing to mention.
Now that Google will end it's free unlimited 'high quality' photo backup , Nikon offers storage to 20G and Canon offers just 10G, Sony is the only one providing unlimited free cloud storage through PlayMemoriesHome.
