Using the options key on the remote to turn scart rec off and exit then a msg appears you cannot use features as the scart rec is on . What is wrong is it the remote or the tv.

But, with "SCART REC Yes" can you record from an external device?

THANKS FOR YOUR POST , THE THING IS i DON'T WANT TO RECORD AS i AM NOT IN THE HABIT OF RECORDING. i JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE OPTION KEY SAYS SCART REC OFF BUT A MSG APPEARS ON THE SCREEN CERTAIN FEATURES NOT AVAILABLE AS SCART REC ON.

I have to proceed with attempts, after selecting "SCART REC Off" you confirm with the central button on the remote control or just exit?

Maybe that message appears because, without confirmation, for TV it is like having selected again "SCART REC Yes".
