Sony DSC HX60 wont turn on

Hello, My DSC HX 60 all of a sudden fails to start up, its as dead as a do do nothing at all. I tried a full charge no good so tried new batteries charged on an external charger still no good, tried taking out battery and holding on button for 15 seconds still no help. Any help would be appreciated. Redders
