HT-SF 200

Hi,

  My HT-SF 200 has developed an annoying fault in that when I turn on the Sony Bravia tv no sound comes out of the sound bar for about a minute.Anyone experiencing same prob..Wasn't like this when new about 4-5 months ago.Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to our community!

Do you have BRAVIA Sync settings enabled on both the TV and the soundbar? If so, could you try to disable them and check if the same issue happens or not? Also, you can try connecting them with a different HDMI cable if possible.

You can also make sure that your soundbar is running the latest firmware version as it was released to improve the BRAVIA Sync feature connectivity. You can use this link to check if you have the latest version and know how to update it if needed.

   Many thanks for your help.Have tried following the instructions and it seems like I need to update the firmware which I find a little annoying to say the least as the unit was purchased earlier this year.Seems like I’ll just have to put up with it.
