"There are those who choose the blue pill and stay in their normal life and believe whatever they want to believe. And there are those who will take the red pill, put on the headset and let Morpheus show us how deep the rabbit hole goes..."
Hi all
Just thought I'd post about this in case PS4 fans / anyone hadn't seen it.
Sony have recently revealed their prototype Virtual Reality headset for the PS4
There is currently no launch date or price point but its great to see Sony are having a go instead of just letting Oculus Rift try and corner the market for VR headsets.
I'm still not sure about those glowing ice cream cones though lol.
Id choose the red pill anyday.
"Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive."
...although I know one machine that has not helped mankind in any way shape or form
The Sinclair C5
How about one of these:
And this one certainly hasnt helped mankind either:
LOL! I wholeheartedly agree with the last one.
Think I'll be with Windows 7 for the next few years
Anyway back to Morpheus... What do our members think?
Yes - Sorry back on track.
At the moment, VR headsets are kinda a niche market, probably due the high costs of purchasing one. I myself have not even used/tested/or even demoed one, so I havent made up my mind. And im sure that this may be the case for many.
At some-point im sure ill get to, but at the moment, the jury is yet to decide.
Would definitely be the red pill for me but I would rather get get my hands on Trinity than a virtual reality Morpheus.:smileywink:
I did have had a go with the the Sony 3D viewer some years back but I thought then that I would not be sure if I would use it when outside of my home, travelling on a train or plane before anyone makes a comment, because it looked a bit ridiculous to be honest.
LOL and it would invite the public to steal everything you own
whilst sat on a train with a technological 'blindfold' on.
I'm quite excited at the possible potential other uses of the Morpheus headset rather than just for gaming.
I wonder what an hd / 3d movie experience would be like?
I can't wait for this to come out, if it's in the right price range, I'll definitely buy it.
Hey @jumpsuit have you noticed that Facebook have bought Oculus rift for $2 billion that is a lot of zeros.
