I've ownd the above since 2006 and it's starting to show it's age - I'd like to stick with Sony as it's been a fantastic TV, can anyone tell me what it's modern-day direct equivilant is please? I paid over £1000 for it back in 2006 and can see a lot of different models now!
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Hard to do like for like comparisons as things have changed alot in 6 years. But what is worth noting that you'll probably be able to get a 40" screen for the same footprint as your current 32" as current models are far thinner around the edges compared to older V series. So depending on your budget I'd checkout the below
Good = 40EX653
Better = 40HX753
Best = 40HX853
Both HX models are 5* What Hi Fi award winning - HX853 is arguably the best LED panel available on the market at present and all are very competitively priced as well.
Hope this helps
