faulty bravia KDF-E50A12U (rear projection)

hi all , i have a rear projection bravia about 7 years old . the power light flashes red twice goes green for 2 seconds then keeps repeating. can anyone help please .

Hi there

2 blinks indicates a short in one of the power supply circuits (B+ Overcurrent protection).  Therefore this is a hardware fault. 

You will need to contact an authorised Sony Repair Centre to get this fault diagnosed and fixed.  However being that the RPTV is a number of years old now, it might be uneconomical to repair.

ok cheers thought it might have been faulty bulb but didnt want to buy one in case it wasnt!
