How do I extend the power cable on my Sony KDL-46HX853

Can any one help me!

I'm mounting my new Sony KDL-46 HX853 on the wall and I need to extend the power cable.

Hi there

The most obvious answer is to use an extension lead. 

Replacing the power cable with a longer one, would probably void your warranty in any case.  As im assuming, if its like mine, its all built into the TV itself, and would require taking the TV apart.

Yep, I wanted to do the same thing but it is built in. Please don't adjust it yourself as the warranty and possibly home insurance may be effected. :
