Recently the screen of the laptop on the TV has appeared blue-ish when connected via the pc input connection (with a VGA cable) and it is as if the blue colour tint/tone had been changed. The picture of the pc screen is visible beneath a thin film of bue
Checks that have been made are:
Checked colour settings of tv.
Checked output settings on laptop for monitors.
Changed VGA cable
Changed laptop
Formatted laptop to original shop bought state
None have made any difference
Settings where not tampered with prior to the colour change
I am able to connect a mobile device to the tv via an hdmi cable with no adverse effects.
The laptop does not have an hdmi connection so the vga cable and audio jack are used.
It simply changed by itself and one day it was fine and the next it was diferent.
I use the laptop connection to view streaming internet video, movies on hard drive, home videos and catrchup tv.
I also use it for split monitor setup when I needc 2 screens for work.
