Streaming from iPad to KDL-46W905A

Hi,
I've just bought a KDL-46W905A. I want to stream content from my iPad/iPhone to it but can't work out how. I've linked the iPad to the TV via WIFI direct but don't find an option on the iPad to push the content or on the tv to pull it. I know that I can stream using apple tv but given this tv should have the latest streaming technology already incorporated I am reluctant to rely on a separate device. Can anyone help? Thanks

I'm not sure the iPad/ios devices allow you to stream content from them to other screens? Not aware of any any apps that permit that - you can wirelessly output the sound via Airplay or Bluetooth, but pretty sure you can't do video.
