I want to free up as much of the space on my Vaio HD as possible, by getting rid of much of the 'dross'; applications and utilities which I do not use. I'm not sure of the best way to this. I had thought of purchasing a full version of Vista, and doing a clean install. This is expensive, but I would do it if it's the only or best way to do this. If I do this, I take it that I would then only reinstall the drivers from the Sony website for my Vaio?
I'd appreciate any advice. (I used a Mac almost exclusively for many years, and picking which applications to install is very straightforward on Mac OS X, but I am much less confident on the PC.)
