i bought a vaio vgn-sz71mn/b and my dvd device is really loud. is there an tool for a silent mode or something like that?

Hi slave-master,

Is your ODD loudly with ALL kind of medias (DVD+/- (R/RW); CD+/- (R/RW ; BD)?

If answer is Yes & No => I recommend to exchange your computer if still in 14 days after Date Of Purchase (DOP) @ your computer shop or if unit out of 14 days after DOP contact VAIO hotline to repair ODD in warranty.

If you don't want to contact VAIO hotline open in eSupport an id case reporting your issue.
